Places you can send faxes from include the Contacts tab (on contacts that have a fax number), the Documents tab, and the Correspondence tab on the case in question.
The Contacts tab (click on the fax icon to start a fax to the contact, if a fax number is present):
The Documents tab (highlight the document to open the document menu and click the Fax button to start a fax with the document attached):
The Correspondence tab (the documents on the correspondence item will automatically attach to the new fax):
When you select the option to send a fax, the Send Fax window will open:
Fill out the information on the form. You can then Send it or Send & Case Note (a case note is automatically opened after the fax is sent).
If you Include a Cover Sheet, check the appropriate box, and fill out the desired fields.
Note: If you want to make the Comments box larger, click and drag from the bottom right-hand corner, on the two lines, to the desired size:
Outgoing faxes are logged on that case’s Correspondence tab if you leave the Log Correspondence box checked in the Send Fax window.
